“Awareness Begins with Understanding”
Beacon Buddies, the peer-counselling club of Expert PU College, Valachil, organised an innovative Child Rights Quiz to mark Children’s Day, aiming to sensitise students through participative learning.
Adopting a non-traditional format, questions were displayed on classroom notice boards and responses were collected through answer boxes placed outside classrooms. The initiative witnessed an overwhelming participation of 1,190 students, with 87 students scoring full marks, reflecting strong awareness and engagement.
The programme was supported by the Principal, Vice Principals, coaching head, faculty members, and Beacon Buddies volunteers, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to building an informed and responsible student community.
