Expert PU College, Valachil, organized a special workshop on Child Rights and Protection Policies for its teaching faculty. Led by Principal Dr. N. K. Vijayan Karippal, the session shed light on the Right to Education Act (2009) and the POCSO Act (2012).
The workshop emphasized the importance of creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for every learner. Teachers were encouraged to approach classroom challenges with empathy, awareness, and accountability.
He highlighted the educator’s role as both a mentor and protector in shaping young minds responsibly.
